My Stories
The Written Word

Readers usually grossly underestimate their own importance. If a reader cannot create a book along with the writer, the book will never come to life. Creative involvement: that's the difference between reading a book and watching TV.

In watching TV, we are passive ~ sponges; we do nothing. In reading we must become creators, imagining the setting of the story, seeing the facial expressions, hearing the inflection of the voices. The author and the reader *know* each other; they meet on the bridge of words.

Writing is something that I do simply because I enjoy it. It's good for the imagination, and it's good for the soul. It's a good thing to do after a rough day. It's relaxing. It's a passion. It's my obsession.

I would like to take a second here to thank my beta reader, Jen, for all her help, patience, and guidance. Her *brainstorming* always keeps my frustrations to a minimum. She's been there to laugh with and to discuss all the *important* issues in our lives. She's been there when I've needed a sounding board or a shoulder to cry on.

**Thank you, Jen, for being my friend**

My fiction for
"The Sentinel"

Due to circumstances beyond my control I am giving up on posting my stories here. There is just too many to continue to re-post everytime something happens and they disappear. Or when I am forced to move to a new server.

All of my general fiction stories are now archived at the Cascade Library. But I am still very willing to email any stories requested. I am also going to continue to post my titles in the "My Stories" section (the link is at the top of this page).

If you are interested in reading my slash stories please go here:

Thank you for your tolerance. Thank you for enjoying what I've written.

Suzie :-)
